Boundaries are a lifestyle
The Full Story
Let's face it, when people don't feel safe, they behave in ways they wouldn't have if they had the proper tools. In my coaching, I've met people who were acting out behaviors that moved them further away from their goals, all in the name of safety. Empowered Path was born out of the loving desire to keep people safe, on track, and armed with the tools to craft their own lives. No one can predict when we face challenges, so I set out to prepare each of my clients for the inevitable by encouraging them to set customized boundaries that are designed to evolve as they grow in the world.
The result has been bigger than I imagined with hundreds of women, men and children learning how to set and communicate proper boundaries with themselves, in their homes, at school, work and in rehabilitation programs. I have produced two courses, six master classes and countless speaking engagements and hundreds of one on one sessions.
Setting clear work boundaries reduces stress and workplace issues while improving well-being. The APA (2023) found that "95% [of employees] said it is very (61%) or somewhat (34%) important to them to work for an organization that respects the boundaries between work and nonwork time." The U.S. Surgeon General also notes that when leaders model healthy boundaries, employees feel better overall (WebMD Health Services, 2023). Simply put, boundaries create a healthier environment.
